A Miraculous Rescue
Finally, on the twenty-fourth day of his ordeal, salvation arrived in the form of the Colombian Navy. They discovered Francois 120 nautical miles away from Puerto Bolívar, an astounding distance from where he was originally lost. Despite enduring an arduous journey, Francois miraculously maintained his health and resilience.
